Avocado

An Avocado contains more potassium than a banana and is chalk full of fiber and mono-saturated fatty acids which are great for the heart, as it lowers LDL cholesterol and triglycerides. Avocados contain a lot of antioxidants which help maintain eye health. Studies also show this super fruit may help prevent cancer and relieve symptoms of arthritis.

Tomato Salsa

Tomato Salsa contains carotenoid lycopene, which reduces the risk of cancer, burns body fat, is great for the heart and stabilizes blood sugar levels. Tomato Salsa is high in citric acid, vitamin C and contains an antioxidant called quercetin which has anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer properties in the body. Salsa is also low calories.

Mango

Mangoes are highly nutritious fruits containing fiber, Vitamin A and C along with Potassium and Vitamin B6. This frit helps with digestion and has found to have anti-cancer properties.

Olive Oil

Fact is, many of the store brands of olive oils are fake, they are cut and mixed with other oils and labeled incorrectly. We go out of our way to import certified extra virgin olive oil, so the health benefits are real. It is probably the single healthiest monosaturated fats, right up there with coconut oil. Olive Oil contains strong antioxidants that may reduce risk of chronic diseases and fight inflammation while helping blood cholesterol from oxidation which lowers the risk of heart disease.

Almonds

Packed with nutrients such as protein, fiber, vitamin E, copper, vitamin B2 and magnesium, almonds help control blood sugar levels, lower LDL cholesterol and has been shown to help weight loss by reducing hunger.

Cumin

Many of our foods are flavored with Cumin spice, which gives it an earthy, nutty, warm flavor. Cumin is high in antioxidants, rich in iron and has shown to aid digestion while cutting down on inflammation as it contains plant compounds such as terpenes, phenols, flavonoids and alkaloids that have shown to have great health benefits.

Cheese? What? Danish and Australia scientists have found that eating cheese does not raise your cholesterol and could actually help you lose weight. They have called it "cheese metabolism". It has to do with the composition of gut bacteria.
